You are absolutely correct - I don't have to choose! And I usually use a combination like you described.
The problem I run into is purchasing a premade planner, and then barely using it (#ADHDTax ?). I've bought some gorgeous Plum Paper Planners, but I can't keep up with them. It gets pricey after a while .
I've been thinking about trying printables in an A5 rings binder to save money, and only printing what I need. I also have a stack of Happy Planners that I can pilfer and redate as needed.
