Hot take about

My spouse is binge-watching Big Bang Theory AGAIN...which reminds me of a debate a couple of years ago when the creators said that Sheldon wasn't

The only reason they would say this is deflection - deniable plausability to avoid scrutiny and criticism over his character traits.

However, the thing about BBT that nobody ever mentions or seems to notice (perhaps because Sheldon is so dominant and his portrayed is so blatant) is that nearly ALL of the characters are portrayed with many classic autistic traits, (perhaps with the exception of Penny and Bernadette).
Raj, Howard, Leonard, Sheldon, Stuart, Kripke, Amy, Bert (the geologist) immediately come to mind.
(We even had Raj with mutism around women for many series!)

I know it's fiction, and there's a lot of caricature but consider this idea when watching an episode and see what you think. Any comments? Feel free to discuss!
